Years ago, I attended a MLM meeting for fun. I had several years of corporate sales experience at that time, and was certainly turned off by the lack of sales training, or leads generation provided during this corporate "meeting" for sales reps. All of the training and focus was about MLM recruitment, not on end user sales which was a big flag.
Anyways, what really turned me off about their whole process was their one major sales story (it was an MLM supplement/drink company) was an existing business owner who had a restaurant, or retail shop of some kind, who sold through all the tiers to get the top level commission by offering their products through his existing retail operation, in a matter of a week or two.
